Men Action Group Networking Eating Time (MAGNET) Mission: To have like-minded shepherds sticking together to become a major draw for those who are spiritually hungry. What MAGNET does? We are a group of like-minded men who trust our Lord to help us to disciple other families so that the lost ones be found and become fruitful by themselves. We commit to having the compassion of a father in consolidating our sheeps and guide them towards the vision God has designed for each one of them. Good Question: What does a shepherd do? He always groups his sheeps together and count them and care for them by their names, the action of grouping and counting and nurturing is called Consolidation (as in G12). A good shepherd adds to his number, a bad one loses many. Food for thoughts: Consolidation is about PARENTING!! Cesar Castellanos: Consolidation depends on the leaders’ ability to transmit the Parental Responsibility to Each Member of their church so that they understand the value of Each Soul that God puts into their hands and can give them the care that they require-that is, the SAME CARE AS FOR A NEW-BORN BABY. More Good Questions: Must I be a shepherd? Definitely, it is God’s commandment. The Lord has sent us to bear fruits and that our fruits should remain. What does a shepherd aim at? He helps each sheep to be successful! How? By knowing and helping each sheep to find his dream - the value God puts to each soul. Where is my strength? Like Paul, he is not just making disciples but with the compassion of a father. Paul said to the Galatians: ‘My little CHILDREN, for whom I labour in birth again until Christ is formed in you.” Galatians 4:19 DESSERTS OR STRESSED? When the Lord went to pick the fruit of a fig tree and found only leaves, He was so indignant that He cursed it. When the Lord comes to our church, He looks for fruits but some have only leaves (many activities) because they do not have a proper strategy for consolidating the new believers – the fruits have not remained (Matthews 21:18-19) Who should join MAGNET?
