Contact Moms Ministry: “Sharing God’s Love by Sharing Our Lives”
Contact Moms are a network of Christian women who share a common conviction regarding biblical parenting principles. A Contact Mom will encourage new moms in the implementation of these principles by establishing a healthy routine and flexible, cyclical, feeding schedule. Beyond the fundamentals of infant care and nurturing, Contact Moms share many other God-honouring principles from their practical experience for child rearing and family life. Contact Moms are committed to following the advice in Titus 2:4a by admonishing “young women to love their husbands and to love their children….”.

Practical Application
For the most part, Contact Moms answer questions by telephone or emails from one of three sources:

1). National Referral: Calls or emails that have come into the main office that are distributed to a Contact Mom from the same area as the caller. Unless specifically requested, all Contact Moms are considered available for national calls.

2). Church Referral: Calls or emails referred to you directly from your own church or Contact Moms Coordinator. These calls are usually in concert with, or as a result of, a parenting class. CFH defers specific details in this area to the local church.

3). Good Samaritan Referral: directly. Calls or emails from someone who knows you or was helped by you who gives your name to someone else in need of encouragement. This is a vital part of the Gems Ministry ... and a compliment to you.

Contact Mom Levels
There are three levels of Contact Moms.
Heritage Contact Mom - Ministers to moms with children from birth to two years of age.
Heirloom Contact Mom - Ministers to moms with children from two to twelve.
Harvest Contact Mom - Ministers to moms with children from twelve through teen years, as well as into the adult years if needed.

Resources
GEMS Gatherings - These small group meetings exist to provide ongoing support to parents, especially moms, using biblical principles for parenting in their home. GEMs provide an environment for those who are looking for fellowship with like-minded parents, practical advice, new ideas and teaching, a review of tried and true principles and encouragement to stay on track. (Titus 2:1-8)

Audiotapes - These tapes address pertinent topics relating to parenting and ministry issues. New tapes are frequently added on a regular basis. Suggested donation: to be confirmed

Along the Way Newsletter - Covers topics relevant to family issues from birth through the teen years. The articles are written by a variety of authors. There are six issues per year. Suggested donation: to be confirmed
